I think I’m going to be buying a 500$ 98' Toyota Corolla. I’m hoping for it to be a good car to get me through the winter until i can fix or sell my Z3 Coupe. What do you guys think of it? It’s got 130 some thousand miles but I figure a Corolla should be able to go a good bit past that if I maintain it well. Right now the only issue I know if it having is that the paint is butt ugly, and the drivers side door handle only works from the outside. Lemme know your thoughts

For the love of god keep the z3, or go to Craigslist and look elsewhere

It’ll be miserable to drive, but for $500? Sacrificial Japanese cars are a nice thing to have.

My friend scrapped one that looked exactly like that years ago, and got a 3000GT. He has a Civic EX now I think and wants a minivan.

Door handle should be an easy fix

If I buy this I most likely plan to drive it until I can afford to repair the z3's subframe. Otherwise I’d get something more interesting but that would most likely mean selling the coupe at a super low value

With that title history, how are you going to even get it insured?

Doesn’t matter since he won’t need full coverage.
